We are delighted to announce that former student Scott Maurice has agreed to be our new patron alongside our original patron Amanda Mealing. Scott was a student of Pineaple Performing Arts School for many years before pursuing a highly successful career in the industry, including roles in West End shows Ghost, Fame, Thriller and Lion King as well as working with artists such as Beyonce and Kelly Rowlands. Scott regullarly returns to teach for us and is an inspiration and role model for our young performers.

We would like to say a MASSIVE well done and thank you to everyone involved yesterday, from the performers to the chaperones,backstage volunteers and to everyone who brought children to rehearsals, provided costumes and made everything go so well. The children were all superb, and excellently behaved and the costumes were incredible. We are so proud of all of them and would like to thank you all for all the help and support which makes this huge undertaking possible.

Busy busy in the office today getting ready for Sunday’s annual show Pineapple Style at Logan Hall, very excited to see over 350 of our young students perform on Fathers Day!

We are delighted to announce that 3 times nominated for the Oliver Awards Summer Strallen will be a guest teacher at our Musical Theatre Summer School! Summer is currently playing the lead in the West End hit musical Top Hat!

 Malta, Italy, Cyprus, Netherlands, Scotland and Ireland. All very busy with workshops and private classes from hip hop to Musical Theatre.

We are delighted to announce that another of our students and agency clients has been offered a role in Matilda!

We are very proud to announce we won the Federation of Dance Competition’s people choice award last night at The Starpower competition! This award was given to only 1 entry out our hundreds that entered over the weekend as the overall winning piece! It enters us into a competition to represent the UK alongside other top acts from America and Japan! Well done to the Choreographer Christabelle Field and our fabulous dancers!

6 of our girls are going to be part of a Charity Fashion show in aid of Jeans for Genes. They will be walking down the catwalk at London’s Excel in June and it promises to be a very busy month for PPAS, yet again!

We would like to say a huge thank you to our amazingly talented and creative costumre designer, Angela St Hill, and her wonderful assistant Tamzin O’Garro for their superb work on the Thriller costumes for last Friday’s corporate event. They looked wonderful, and with the make up provided by the team of make up artists, the whole effect was pretty special!

Well done to two of our senior students and agency clients, Allie and Kiera, on being cast in an educational film. We are very excited for them!
