Pineapple Performing Arts School
have over 12 years experience in working with amateur adults, we have produced
over 30 shows all held in professional London Theatres. We pride ourselves in

discover their inner performing ambitions and reach their full potential

1The Performing Arts Course
Have you
dreamed of training to be a professional performer? Do you love to dance with
friends?
Sing regularly in the shower? Is your life one big soap opera?
The aim of the performing arts course is to give all those taking part
regardless of experience the chance to
learn the disciplines of dance drama and singing.
You may
want to refresh skills obtained earlier in training
Experience a missed ambition or simply attend for enjoyment and make new friends.
For twelve Sunday’s we will teach you to sing like a professional, develop your
acting skills
and clean up those dance moves from street styles to Musical Theatre
and
it’s not just about the training! At the end of the twelve weeks you will
perform in a professionaltheatre
in front of a live audience!
PPAS operate an open door policy therefore students
applying to join the course do not have to audition for the Performing Arts Course, enrolment is based
on application.
For the end of term showcase students are assigned dedicated
teachers who will craft routines and scenes to prepare you for your performances.
Every student gets the opportunity to perform, whether an absolute beginner
starting from scratch or a more advanced student looking for a refresher.

The three
hour course takes place over 12 Sunday's from 2pm-5pm consisting of
three separate 55 minute classes. As this course is held on a Sunday afternoon, it can easily be
fitted into current jobs, careers and schedules.

The Musical Theatre Course
This
course has been designed to give students age 16+, a rounded training covering
the
many aspects of Musical Theatre. Suitable for the student looking to audition
for
full time college, an agent or professional work and also perfect for the enthusiastic
mature student with a good basic background of performing arts subjects!
The
training will cover, audition technique, text and character work, training in dance and singing, incorporating
performance
through song and musical interpretation. Students will deepen their understanding and
technique in
key areas of performance, the skills are developed each week as the
students work towards an end of term showcase.
Musical Theatre repertoire from West End and Broadway
shows past and present will form a large part of the training taught by professional
performing currently in working in London’s West End
It may be necessary for less advanced students to audition before being fully accepted on the course, we would recommend the Performing Arts Course for those who have not trained in dance drama or singing previously.
