PINEAPPLE CHUNKS (3 – 4 yrs old)

You would be amazed how early the interest in performing arts starts and how talented these little performers are! Working with a dedicated and experienced teacher accompanied by a classroom assistant from our senior schools, this gives younger students a gentle introduction in preparation for the full three hour classes of singing, dancing and acting.

Sundays 11am – 12pm Twelve Week Terms / 1 hour


JUNIOR SCHOOL (5 – 13 year olds)

Our young performers are divided into age groups named after current or former West End shows and take classes in singing, dancing and acting. The groups are rotated around a variety of different teachers with different areas of expertise. "Stomp" could be in the middle of a new street dance routine, while "Grease" are working on their improvisation and "Cats" are singing a new piece of musical theatre. In the Summer Term, all of our students (including Chunks) perform in a West End Theatre in their own show.

SENIOR SCHOOL (14 – 18 year olds)

The three afternoon groups represent our oldest and most experienced dancers. Some of our students will have been with us for some time and started in our junior school, some will have their first term in this age bracket. Following similar lines to our junior school, these students also have the added opportunity of appearing as guest performers in many of our adult course shows and the opportunity to audition for our corporate troupe y@p (Youth At Pineapple).

TWELVE WEEK INTENSIVE ADULT COURSE (18+)

Working only on Sunday, the 12 week course begins with 6 weeks of training before preparing for two performances, a drama showcase and an end of term song and dance spectacular. This begins with 6 weeks of training in a wide variety of styles from Musical Theatre repertoire to gospel, from street jazz to Bollywood, from script breakdown to improvisation. You work with a wide variety of teachers and industry professionals from all over the world. For your two productions (a drama night in Week 10 and a song/dance spectacular in Week 12) students are assigned dedicated teachers who will craft routines and scenes to prepare you for performance. Every student gets the opportunity to perform, whether you are an absolute beginner starting from scratch or a working professional looking for a refresher.
