THE MUSICAL THEATRE ADULT COURSE SUNDAY’S 2-5PM

This course has been designed to give students age 16+, a rounded training covering the many aspects of Musical Theatre. Suitable for the student looking to audition for full time college, an agent or professional work, and also perfect for the enthusiastic mature student with a good basic background of performing arts subjects!

The training will cover, audition technique, text and character work, training in dance and singing, incorporating performance through song and musical interpretation. Students will deepen their understanding and technique in key areas of performance. The skills are developed each week as the students work towards an end of term showcase.

Musical Theatre repertoire from West End and Broadway shows past and present will form a large part of the training, taught by professionals currently performing and working in London’s West End. It may be necessary for less advanced students to audition before being fully accepted on this course. We recommend the Senior school or adult Performing Arts Course for those who have not trained in dance drama or singing previously.

The three hour course takes place over 12 Sundays from 2pm – 5pm As this course is held on a Sunday afternoon,
it can easily be fitted into current jobs, careers and schedules.

Come to the heart of dance in London and be taught by industry professionals currently appearing in West End shows. PPAS offer first class training that is different to any other Musical Theatre summer school, every class taught on this week long course, consist of repertoire from popular shows past and present all taught by the performers themselves! You will learn a whole host of routines from Wicked to Sweet Charity, Fame to Mama Mia, plus many more! A ticket to see a West End Show is also included with a master-classes taught by a cast member of the show.

Previous theatre visit have included, Legally Blonde, Blood Brothers, Hairspray, Dirty Dancing and Chicago. Places sell out weeks in advance for this very popular course, so book as early to avoid disappointment!
