Myself and the children of Great Ormond Street would like to say an enor mous thank you to Pineapple Performing Arts School for your support in regard to Make Some Noise. The party was amazing and we have had nothing but good feedback from our very excited young guests. Wow what a fantastic half term week for the students from Gravesham, the young people thought it was fantastic and the classes were amazing!. I spoke to the students on the way back home on the coach last night and they thought they were even better than last years! A massive thank you to you for all you did for us.

Thank you so much for bringing your dance ‘crew’ along to perform at the street party. It was very much appreciated and I hope you were able to engage with folks from the community to promote the wonderful work you’re doing,
I hope you and your dancers managed to grab a bite and enjoy the event too. Thanks again to you and those wonderful and energetic youngsters.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to PPAS for helping us with Saturday’s event. It was a huge success and Chyrstabelle was a fantastic teacher who I would definitely recommend to use again.

Isobel C Smith – Events Executive Development Department National Theatre

Thank you so so much for coming along to our Xmas Fayre on Saturday, our children had a wonder ful time and thoroughly enjoyed watching your dancers – it was also really kind of them to hang back and get into the spirit of things and help us with the difficult task of voting for the winners, all very much appreciated so thank you. Huge thanks also to Maggie for also donating a couple of extra prizes for Sam our ‘compare’ for the competition and to Harvir, our Michael Jackson ‘Act’, they were both over the moon with their prize & gift..
Overall, I thought the event was a great success and we very much hope we’ll have the opportunity to welcome students from Pineapple Performing Arts to another one of our events in the not too distant future.

Students and parents testimonials

I enjoyed the adult course at Pineapple more than I ever thought I would and the whole process has been the hi-light of my year!! I absolutely LOVED my time at Pineapple, and have made some truly awesome friends!! The staff and teachers have been absolutely first-class!! Could not say a bad word about a single person even if I tried!! Not only are they friendly in making us feel comfortable, but they’re also extremely knowledgeable about their craft!! I wish all my teacher’s at school were like that!! Also a personal ‘Thanks’ to you Maggie! It’s very encouraging to see how much an interest you take in the classes and in the students; constantly dropping by to see that everything and everyone is okay!!
Please could you also convey my thanks to Nadine: she’s been the most awesome teacher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never knew Sunday’s could be so much fun!!

Out of the 4 consecutive years doing the Pineapple Musical Theatre summer course, there is not one I have preferred because they have all been amazing! As well as making new friends from the over the world, its great to also see the ‘regulars’ and I’m delighted to say I am now one of them. The huge variety of different styles of dance from Fosse in Chicago to Michael Jackson in Thriller, gives you the chance to imagine just what it would be like to perform in the West End. The incredible dancing teachers, as well as those who teach singing and acting are fantastic influences and are guaranteed to be the best.
With Pineapple, you just can’t go wrong, and I cannot wait to return next year! Thanks greatly to everyone at Pineapple Performing Arts School.

Sophie Matthew – Summer School Student

Amanda only joined Pineapple in September, but I have seen a tremendous improvement in her dance and singing skills and she has a thoroughly amazing time every Sunday and I have to compliment all of you and the teachers for the excellent job you all do. Unfortunately she will not be able to attend classes next term, as she is going to Israel as part of a special programme run through her school for the whole of next term. She will be back for the summer term so can you please “save” her a place for the summer term as she absolutely loves coming and would be heartbroken if the class was full !

I was so excited to join this course, I saved each month for this and I am glad that I did, as I have benefited from this course and I would recommended it to anyone else that I know that loves Performing Arts. I do have a passion for the arts and I feel that this course has made me realise my dream and goal. The feeling of performing again on the stage is thrilling, I am actually picking myself up from where I left off through College and University studying Drama and Theatre studies with Performing Arts. I left it for such a long period of time working in a dead end job not fulfilling my passion.

This course has me me come alive again to do what I would want to do each and every day that makes me happy. You have given us all a great opportunity to showcase our talents through dance, drama and singing. This showcase you have collaborated together is a true achievement to the high standards of your Performing Arts School.

I was so excited just watching the rehearsals on Sunday, appreciating all the talented members among us all and having you as the ‘Mother’ of it all is great as I have noticed you have always come along to visit each group and paid attention to the group and our needs of improvement and advice throughout this rehearsal process. Once again thank you for this opportunity and support you have been amazing Maggie.
